French bakery/cafe serving breakfast and lunch in Toronto's East End since 1997! #bonjourbrioche
Bonjour Brioche, at the corner of Queen East and Degrassi Streets is a favourite neighbourhood spot serving breakfast, lunch and weekend brunch. Lines snake out the door on weekends as brunch-goers wait their turn for delicious eggs benny, fresh baguettes and, of course, brioche. Wafts of delicate sweetness permeate the sidewalk outside and transport passersby to Paris.
This is testament to the expertise, passion, detail and je ne sais quoi transpiring in the charming patisserie in which owners Henri and Lori Feasson have been wooing locals and visitors for 20 years.
The success of the bakery is that after all these years they have always stayed so consistent with quality. They use the best produce, meat, eggs, butter — all the ingredients are top-notch to start the basis of the quiches, tarts, sandwiches and, of course, breads and pastries.
Don't forget to try the most popular dishes: croque madam, rosti with smoked salmon and the French toast.
Bonjour Brioche was considered a hidden gem of the neighbourhood, as you can see here.
