At Sugar Loaf Bakery, we focus on infusing traditional recipes with inventive flavours, influenced by various gastronomic cultures, such as French, Italian, and Brazilian, to create unique sweet and savoury offerings.
Our “Non-Traditional Artisanal” motto means that we specialize in presenting a fresh take on traditional-style baked goods, made from scratch and baked in small batches throughout the day, using only the finest ingredients. Our products are made free of chemical additives and preservatives. Most importantly, everything is made with love… and butter. The owners also live in the area and have kids themselves, so they have thoughtfully designed the space with mothers and strollers in mind: there's an actual stroller parking area, and free tea for nursing moms. Although Sugar Loaf obviously isn't a gluten-free facility, it offers a few other (clearly marked) gluten-free options and also tries to be accommodating to vegetarians and vegans, with its soups and salads for lunch.
