Once upon a time on Carlaw Avenue in Toronto’s East end there existed a toy factory that went by the name Reliable Toy Factory. Reliable Toy Factory was founded in 1920 and made toys for the boys and girls of Toronto.

The Broadview Hotel is excited to be displaying a selection of vintage toys produced by the toy factory in their lobby and cafe. Head down to the North West corner of Queen St E. and Broadview to view a rare piece of Toronto history.

The collection will be available for viewing until January 31st, 2019.
