Riverside Halloween Fest 2019: Thanks + Photos!

An amazing turnout of little troopers came to Riverside’s Halloween Fest this past Saturday (October 26th) and we had great weather for it! A big thanks to Jimmie Simpson Rec Centre for hosting their always popular pumpkin carving and haunted house. Kudos to Nell & Natasha’s Real Estate Homeward Brokerage for putting on another fabulous – their 10th Annual! – Pumpkin Giveaway which was, as always, a festive event full of pumpkin decorating, face painting, tasty treats, and game. The event raised over $850 to help support the South Riverdale Child-Parent Centre!

Last but certainly not least, the Riverside BIA put on another fun-filled Kiddie Costume Parade, thanks to participation from 20 local businesses and organizations! Families ended the parade at the Queen/Saulter Library Branch for spooky stories 😉

We heard from families that they look forward to this event all year, and so do we. Enjoy the memories and happy and safe Halloween everyone!!
