Riverside Winefest, in its 2nd year, was a resounding success!
- 20 participating restaurants and retailers hosting events from March 29-April 3
- 10 wineries took part from diverse parts of Ontario – Niagara, Prince Edward County and Lake Erie North Shore
- 1,068 people registered throughout the week (!!)

- The Wineries of Riverside Winefest 2016 who made the event come alive, including winery owners and reps from Three Dog Winery, Vineland Estates, Trail Estate Winery,13th Street Winery,Kacaba Vineyards, Broken Stone Winery, Henry of Pelham, Tawse, Stratus, Cave Springs, and Black Bears Farms.
- Artists & Artisans: Geo Conidis who created the stylish promotional materials that made this event come to life and captured people’s attention online and on the streets. Samantha Kate Sheppard whose amazing voice enlivened the events. Robert Young who created and premiered ‘Riverside District’ photography exhibition at the Riverside Winefest Expo, and Janet Potter who brought her unique wine-themed collection so fitting of this event. Event caterer Sandy Aleksander who provide delectable dishes throughout the week. Fromager Cecilia Smith who brought the popular Canadian cheese talk to the Expo. Poet and Riverside resident Lara Bozabalian who performed at the Expo. Cocoa Couriers who brought fair trade chocolate sampling to the Expo!
- Our Elected Representatives: Councillor Paula Fletcher, MPP Peter Tabuns, and MP Julie Dabrusin for coming out to show their support for the community at the Riverside Winefest Expo.
- Media and community partners who helped spread the word: Snapd, GoodHood, Blog TO, Dine.TO, The Bulletin, and Beach Mirror. Special thanks to k-media for volunteering time to capture the moments!!
